Principal’s Message
Kia ora
Preparations for this year’s prooduction are well underway, so keep that date Thursday 2 July saved on your calendar. There will be a matinee (12 o’clock) and evening performance (6pm) on that date. We are again lucky to have use of the Porirua College Hall so keep an eye out for the notices that will be coming home about costumes and ticket sales.
We are alos planning a whānau afternoon in week 8 to demonstrate some maths games( those who attend will get a take home pack of games) to support your child’s learning.

Homework Passports
“Homework Passports” were sent home in Term 1, there is no rush, they are designed to be worked on over the whole year. We encourage all students to work on completing all of the tasks to earn a great trip in November, juniors to Jumparama and seniors to Adrenalin Forest. The only way to earn a place on these trips to return their fully completed passport and workbook to the Principal to sight and sign off.
If you would like any worksheets or materials to support your child’s goals please check with their classroom teacher.

Students have been out and about for a number of sporting and learning experiences: art trip visiting sites around Porirua region, interschool netball, football and cross-country.
On top of all that our senior students are doing a fantastic job on Road Patrol this year.
